Elmore Has Career Night in First Round of Playoffs

Travis Elmore (PM West, 2018) picked a crucial game to record a double/double and career high in scoring.  Elmore posted a team high 21 points and 12 rebounds in leading the Panthers to a first round 71-57 win over Lower Merion.  Fellow Rebel, Jalen Vaughns (PM West, 2017) contributed 15 points in the victory.  The Panthers advance to the Sweet 16 of the PIAA Class 6A state playoffs against Plymouth-Whitemarsh on Wednesday, March 15.  Find more coverage here on the Panthers' big win.






Rebels Help PM West to District XI 6A Championship

CONGRATULATIONS to Jalen Vaughns (PM West, 2017), Travis Elmore (PM West, 2018) and the entire Pocono Mountain West boys basketball program for winning the District XI, 6A Championship over the Parkland Trojans last night.  Additional congratulations to Mike Zeky (Parkland, 2017) and the Parkland program for their run to an unprecedented 5th straight District title.  Guard Vaughns posted another double/double finishing with 15 points and 12 rebounds.  Forward Elmore was a beast on the boards with a game high 15 rebounds leading to multiple second chances for the Panthers.  Guard Zeky had a solid game for the Trojans with 17 points including a team leading  3, 3-pointers.  Both teams qualified for the State playoffs beginning March 11.  Enjoy highlights from the championship game below.
